  2. Edible Prints Disclaimer

Please read carefully before placing your order. .

Due to edible ink being "food coloring ink", some colors may not print with exactly same shades as they appear on the source image file. This is a known issue with all edible print systems and considered being normal. Black food coloring is made using many colors, as a result any areas with grey shading can sometime have a blue, green or purple hue to them, although we do best in printer calibration to avoid or at least minimize such effect whenever possible and it almost never happens. This will be more apparent in black and white photos.

Colors like blue, green, red, yellow, orange, pink and purple print well but may not be exact matches. Large black areas or backgrounds may not print well and KakeWalk even may reject your image if you send it or offer printing it at your own risk if you like. Please keep in mind this is to ensure your satisfaction.

Edible ink will not print exactly the same as a regular printer. We certainly understand that some clients may be particular about color when it comes to their logos. I recommend in these cases that you order 1 color proof print page so you can see a physical sample before placing a large edible print order. All proofs are printed on regular non-edible white printing paper using edible inks so you can see the colors output before placing a large order on icing sheets. KakeWalk cannot be responsible for print care, storage and transportation once the print was given to the customer.

By uploading your image, you as a customer is responsible for obtaining all copyright and the authorization to use the image. KakeWalk offers and takes responsibility for printing services only and does not sell any license image as a product. By placing an order with KakeWalk, you are certifying that you have permission to use the images that have been provided to us; that any images you are using will not violate any copyrights .

Also, please keep in mind our 5% rule! 5% rule means we will print and send any prints as long as margin of error is less than 5%. In other words, we always strive to give you the perfect product you ordered, but because of colors and shapes, that may not be possible. If that is the case, as long as we are certain your image matches at least 95% perfection, we will consider it worthy of sending it out. If we cannot match 95% accuracy, we will cancel the order. If you are particular about having the precut images perfectly accurate, please give us a call and we will go over it in detail with you over the phone and try our best to make your request doable! For example: Square pictures inside precut circles, lighter images printed a shade darker, small images pixelated when enlarged, and so on. We appreciate your business and look forward to printing your images!
